You can reach the magnificent rapids of the Tornio River – Valkeakoski and Hirvaskoski – along nature trails. From Lehmivaara in Pello, a road turns towards Valkeakoski (Torniontie 21, Pello). At the end of the road there is a parking area, from which the marked trails start.
Both Valkeakoski and Hirvaskoski have a lean-to shelter.
