Located in the middle of Miekojärvi lake, the Orhinselänniemi sandbar in summer is a "must visit" location in Pello in the summer. The Finnish Erä-Lehti Travel Magazine chose Orhinselänniemi as the most beautiful natural sandbar in Finland in 2007.
