Naamivaara Disc Golf Course in Pello in Lapland, Finland
At Pello’s Naamivaara camping area, located approximately 20 km north from the centre of Pello, you can find a 19-hole disc golf course, which is free to use all year round. The Naamivaara disc golf course, built in 2011, was expanded to a full course in 2013. In the spring of 2015, small changes were made to the course, and another hole was added.
The course is located on a sandy hill, with many different height differences. The revised course offers a wide range of challenges in addition to the open slopes on the technical forest roads. The course is par 60, with a total route length of 1891 meters. The walk takes about 2 hours. The 19-hole course is especially suited for enthusiasts and competitors. For beginners, the layout can be adapted to the old 9-hole course.
