The lake and river system of Pello provides a glorious setting for paddling, which can also be combined with fishing should you so desire. The small tributaries of the River Tornio offer a unique paddling environment with an entirely different flow and size from the main channel. The River Tornio and its many rapids is a great venue for white-water paddling – the foaming waters of these rapids will take the measure of any paddler.
