The clearwater Valkeajärvi Lake is located approximately 9 km east from the centre of Pello, in the middle of the Ritavaara tourist centre. The beach at Valkeajärvi is perhaps Pello’s most pleasant and comfortable. In the winter, Valkeajärvi Lake is ideal for ice fishing.
