A fully renovated heritage log house that accommodates 4 – 6 (7) persons. The history of the house goes back to 1930’s when the current owner’s grandparents built it as their family home. It was carefully renovated in 2006 to preserve its history and offer modern facilities at the same time.
Myllyn Pirtti is in a rural environment 20 km North from Pello only a few kilometers from the Tornio River (Tornionjoki). The nearest river Naamijoki flows within 100 meters. The owner lives in a separate house at the same property.
Here you can enjoy the sounds of country life: hear the river flow, trees sighing, birds singing, fire cracking in the fireplace. You can go outside and see the auroras and the stars if you are lucky. The cottage is ideally situated for cross country skiing: almost 100 km maintained tracks suited both for traditional and freestyle skiing can be reached right by stepping out of the cottage.
